Mobile catering has had a huge boost in the last couple of years despite a lull during the covid outbreak and subsequent consumers have sought out mobile pizzerias at their regular and favourite spots which may be a park, Pub, other type of venue or even home driveways offering click and collect! - there is no doubting the current trend of people wanting traditional and good quality woodfired pizza.........
As a business?
Whether its a second income where you cater for seasonal events or you hook up once or twice a week on an industrial estate, layby or pub experience has shown us that furloughing of employees during covid created an upsurge in people wanting to go out and earn whilst many of these remained trading until well after normality returned and covid ceased to be such a disruptive and horrid time. Many other people started trading full time offering mobile authentic woodfired pizza and we have customers who have expanded and are on their 4/5th oven/trailer from us.
The Financials..
We have many customers, and unbelievably commercial users are probably 40% of our total Oven sales. As far as streetfood goes, Pizza is one of the most profitable areas to start. With a 10" good quality pizza costing around £1.00 to make which can sell at between £6 and £10 depending on venue it is a very attractive and enticing business to become involved in, and with our trailers starting a modest £2000 its a very easy and cost effective way of starting your own business and a business where you will constantly improve and will give you great satisfaction once you learn the basics....... whether its a second income, a hobby or main employment its certainly worth a look...
